Following great competitive matches we emerged victorious . We meet Dundalk in the Leinster North semi -final on Sunday 13th July with Dundalk having home advantage.
Unfortunately the Fingal Seniors bowed out of section one of the league with The Island winning the last match of the section so they move to the semi -final. Thanks to Trudy Henry and and Dot Crooks for all the work they have put in over the past few months, it was a very enjoyable competition for all involved.
On Monday 30th the Revive Active Fourball Team comprising Sarah Jane Mc Nally, Sonia Neary,Jen O Loughlen, Ciara Boylan , Fiona Farrell, Jane Branagan, Jane Branagan, Gemma Jennings and Liz Mc Hugh played a superb match against Roganstown. Having won the 2 matches at home and lost both matches in Roganstown it came down to Sarah Jane and Sonia to go out in a playoff as Roganstown had home advantage . They played their hearts out and gave all those watching some great entertainment. They went to the 4th playoff hole a long par 5. Sarah Jane landed her second shot on the green and at 9.45 and almost in the dark she sank a birdie putt to win the match much to the great joy of all in Roganstown and at home in Skerries. We now meet Donabate in round 4 at a date to be decided.
