Ladies Team News – May 23rd

Following a very busy weekend of golf, I am very happy to report that the Ladies acquitted themselves very well with good steady golf played both at home and away .

Mary Mc Kenna Diamond Trophy

On Fri 16th, the Mary Mc Kenna team met Carton House all 5 first leg matches were played in Skerries, we travel to Carton House on Tues 27th to play the O’Meara course leading 3/2.

Revive Active Fourball

On Sat 18th, our more experienced players started the Revive Active season against Hollywood Lakes. The home players both secured wins and thankfully we secured the vital 1/2 match in Hollywood Lakes to take the team to the second round where we meet St Anne’s on Sunday 15th June.

Minor Foursomes

The Minor Foursomes team played their first game of the season on Sunday 18th.The matches were very tight and after a nail biting finish in Balcarrick, Skerries won 2 and a half matches to 1 and a half. The team meet Howth in the second round on Sunday 8th June,  2 matches at home, 2 away.

Carton Cup

To finish our evening on Sunday 18th the Carton cup Team came up short against a very strong Corrstown side. The Team have all to play for when they meet Corrstown for the second leg on Sunday 25 th May . Thanks to all the Ladies who gave up their time preparing to compete and travelling for practice games.

Fingal Seniors Foursomes

The Fingal Seniors Foursomes Team play Forrest Little on Monday 26th at 10.30 am, 2 matches at home 2 away.
