Mens Super Seniors League
An interesting scotch foursomes match play which Skerries entered this year for the first time. Only qualification is your male and 70 and over. It’s a round robin guaranteeing at least 4matchs 2 home and 2 away. Our first round match was at home against Donabate Thursday 2nd April. It was keenly contested but !! with Skerries conceding shots in all 5 matches. We unfortunately lost 3.5 to 1.5. Well done Mark Bradshaw and Ted Scanlan wining a point and Peter Lamont and Joe Keenan a half point. All is not lost and we play Baltray in the next round. The 2 Jimmy’s ( Kenny and Chawke) are managing the team. We are on the look out for new players, preferably a real hot pairing. If you’re interested call JC 0868446099 JK 0858504052.
