Men At Work on 12th Tee

Reintroduction of the elevated 12th tee box

Following engagements with the Course Volunteer Group, Michael and COM, it has been decided to reintroduce the elevated tee position on the 12th hole. Work has already commenced to remove decaying sleepers and replace them with existing resources from the course. The next stage is to prepare the teeing surface and a plan has been agreed with all stakeholders. Once this is completed the landscaping around the perimeter will be reviewed to see how this can be improved and easily maintained.

The elevated tee position will be used for certain competitions and casual golf etc which will be determined by the competition committees and the ground staff and we hope to introduce it in the coming weeks.

Feedback will be very welcome from members.

Further updates to follow.
