One Club Structure (Part 3)
Is there a reason to fear the One Club structure?
We don’t believe so. By reducing duplication, eliminating the need for multiple AGMs, and fostering collaboration between men and women on the Golf Subcommittee, we believe the One Club model will create opportunities for all members, regardless of gender.
If the One Club structure is adopted, we will need to update our constitution, as the current version doesn’t accommodate this model. Proposed changes will modernize the constitution and provide greater flexibility.
These changes will include removing references to Skerries Golf Club being composed of three separate clubs, along with any mention of Joint Club, Men’s Club, and Ladies Club. Instead, the term “The Club” will be used.
