Men’s McDonnell Cup Interclub Golf

Skerries Golf Club are planning to enter the Men’s McDonnell Cup in 2025.

This competition is for players over 25 years of age on 31st March 2025 and a minimum handicap of 15.5 on 1st January 2025.  The competition is a fourball format with 5 pair on each team.  Handicaps are subject to an effective maximum of 19 for the competition.

Ladies Competition Tuesday 18th February 2025

Non-winners -Voucher Draw
All non-winners score cards from the ladies 9 Hole Single Stableford competition on Tuesday 18th February 2025 will go into a draw for one player to win a €20 Voucher for a local Cafe.

Ladies Spring Matchplay

The draw for Rounds 1 and 2 of the Spring Matchplay have taken place and are available in the Ladies Locker Room.  Both rounds must be completed by Monday 31st March.

It should be noted that matches must not be played in conjunction with competitions or booked on timesheets during competition times.

Golf Balls for Juniors

The Junior Committee have placed a tote box with a secure lid and a hole in the top for members to deposit used “experienced” golf balls for our Junior Boys and Girls.

Already the members have responded very positively and there are over 50 balls donated so far so many thanks to all the members and keep the donations coming.
