Match Reports
Last weekend brought another exciting round of matches for our ladies’ teams.
On Saturday, the Ladies Challenge Trophy team, managed by Maura Keogh, secured an excellent victory against a strong Sutton side, carding the best scores of the day. Congratulations to Maura and all the players on a fantastic performance. The team now looks ahead to the next round, which must be played by 21st June.

On Sunday, the Ladies Intermediate Foursomes team faced Co. Louth GC. Unfortunately, the home matches in Skerries had to be postponed due to flooding on the course. The away pairings travelled to Baltray, where they competed in atrocious weather conditions on a heavily waterlogged course. Great credit must go to the players, who battled superbly to secure a fabulous one-and-a-half points out of two in extremely difficult conditions.
The team was managed by Liz McNamara, assisted by Anne Ryan and Patricia Garry. Well done to the management team and to all the supporters who braved the horrendous weather on Sunday.
