Interclub Teams Update. – 7th May
The Inter-Club golf season is continuing with an exciting schedule of matches this weekend.
On Saturday, May 9th, our Ladies Minor Foursomes team takes on The Island in what should be a closely contested match. With two pairings playing at home and two away, the action gets underway at 15:10. The team is under the experienced leadership of manager Pauline Gaughran with Liz McHugh assisting .
Also on Saturday, May 9th, Skerries play local rivals Balbriggan in the men’s Leinster Trophy at 15:30. There are 7 singles matches in total with 4 in Skerries and 3 in Balbriggan.
The action continues on Sunday, May 10th, when our Ladies Senior Foursomes face a challenging encounter against County Louth. This fixture will see one pairing competing at home, while two pairings travel away. The away match in Skerries is scheduled for a 14:45 start. This team is managed by Fiona Farrell assisted by Mary Kenny and Ciara Boylan.
Also on Sunday, May 10th, Skerries take on Clontarf in the Irish mixed foursomes in what promises to be a very exciting encounter. This match is scheduled to start at 14:30 with two pairings at home and two pairings away at 15:00. This team is managed by Brian Andrews and Liz McNamara.

Match Report
Hard luck to the Skerries mixed foursomes team that lost out to Blackbush in the North Leinster Mixed last Sunday. Many thank to Elaine and Philip McGloughlin for their time and dedication in organising the team.
It was a good weekend for Meath as Blackbush also won against Skerries men’s Super Seniors. The final round of matches for the Super Seniors is away to Kilcock on Tuesday 2nd June.
